Ruby Beach, Washington - 2017
The mid-afternoon low tide drains ocean water off the beach exposing vast areas of sand and boulders, some as large as cars and some as large as houses. These large tide swings create expanses of untouched beach that give you the feeling you are the first to experience it. In a way, you are as each tide change is slightly different from the last and different from the next that will follow.
